1. Operator and acceptance

These Terms govern use of Moonveil – Tarot & Guidance (the “App”) provided by TealDev Mateusz Pilarski, ul. Orzechowa 37/17, 21-500 Biała Podlaska, Polska, tax or registration number NIP 5651479302 (“Moonveil”, “we”, “us”). Contact: tealdevmp@gmail.com.

By using the App, creating an account or purchasing a product, the user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Mandatory consumer rights cannot be waived by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for users aged 16 or older. A person who lacks legal capacity to enter the relevant agreement must use the App only with valid consent from a parent or legal guardian. The user must provide accurate account information and protect access to the device, store account and sign-in provider.

3. Nature of Moonveil content

Moonveil provides educational, cultural, entertainment and self-reflection content concerning tarot, numerology, astrology, symbols, runes, plants, stones, rituals and related spiritual topics. Content and generated results are not statements of fact, predictions or guarantees.

The App does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, investment, employment, relationship, emergency or other professional advice. It must not be used to delay professional help or to make high-risk decisions. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or qualified professional service.

4. Guest mode and accounts

Free features may be used without an account. An account may be required for paid access, purchase restoration, optional cloud backup/export/sync, account management and future cross-platform access. Supported sign-in methods may include Google, Apple, email or another method shown in the App.

The user is responsible for activity under the account and must promptly report suspected unauthorised access. We may require verification before restoring access, exporting data or deleting an account.

5. Local content and optional backup

Readings, notes, profile data, numerology inputs and custom spreads are stored locally by default. The user is responsible for device security and for keeping any personal exports or backups safe. Uninstalling, clearing application storage, changing devices or device failure may permanently remove local-only data.

If cloud backup is offered, it is optional and must be deliberately enabled or invoked. The user grants Moonveil a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy and transmit the backup solely to provide backup, restore and sync. The user keeps ownership of their content and may delete the backup. The current backend design limits one backup payload to 5 MB.

The user must not upload unlawful content, malware, content infringing third-party rights or information about another person without a lawful basis. Optional backup may contain sensitive spiritual or journal content; a separate opt-in/consent must be presented before such processing is enabled.

6. Free and paid access

The exact feature set, billing period, trial, price, taxes and currency are shown by Google Play or the App Store immediately before purchase. The store display controls if it conflicts with a marketing description. Moonveil does not receive payment-card details.

7. Subscriptions

• An auto-renewing subscription renews and the store charges the user for each billing period until it is cancelled in the relevant store account.
• Cancellation stops future renewal but normally does not end access before the paid period expires.
• Deleting a Moonveil account or uninstalling the App does not cancel a store subscription.
• Billing retry, grace period, expiry, price changes and trial eligibility are handled according to the store rules and the product information shown before purchase.
• Premium access may be cached for limited offline use. Access may be revalidated when the App reconnects and may end after expiry, refund, revocation or unresolved billing failure.

8. One-time purchases and “lifetime” access

A one-time deck or module purchase is a non-transferable right to use the purchased digital content on supported Moonveil platforms while that content and the Moonveil service remain available and compatible. “Lifetime” means the supported lifetime of the applicable Moonveil product/service, not the purchaser’s biological lifetime and not an obligation to support every future operating system or device indefinitely.

Moonveil will use reasonable efforts to keep valid non-consumable purchases restorable. Content may be updated, replaced or removed where required by law, third-party rights, security, store policy or technical necessity. Mandatory remedies for non-conforming digital content remain unaffected.

9. Purchase restoration, refunds and withdrawal rights

Purchase restoration uses the store and RevenueCat records associated with the relevant account. A user should use the same Google Play/App Store account and Moonveil account where applicable.

Refund requests for store purchases must normally be submitted through Google Play or Apple, which process the transaction and apply their procedures. This does not restrict statutory consumer rights, including remedies for defective or non-conforming digital content.

If Moonveil later sells digital content directly on the web, the user must receive the legally required pre-contract information. Immediate delivery that removes the EU/EEA 14-day withdrawal right may begin only after the user expressly requests immediate performance and acknowledges the resulting loss of that right. Store purchases remain subject to the store checkout and applicable law.

10. Licence and acceptable use

Moonveil grants the user a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App and purchased content for private, non-commercial purposes. The user may not:

• copy, resell, sublicense, scrape or commercially exploit the App or content except where law permits;
• circumvent paywalls, entitlement checks, security controls or usage limits;
• reverse engineer the App except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
• interfere with the service, automate abusive requests or introduce malicious code;
• use the App to violate law or third-party rights.

11. Intellectual property

The App, branding, software, editorial content, databases, artwork and other materials are owned by Moonveil or licensed to it. User-created notes and content remain the user’s property. No ownership is transferred by installation, subscription or purchase.

12. Third-party services

The App depends on services provided by Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, OVHcloud, Expo and other vendors listed in the Privacy Policy. Their terms may apply to their services. Moonveil is not responsible for failures caused solely by a third-party service outside its reasonable control, but this does not limit mandatory consumer remedies.

13. Availability and changes

We may maintain, secure, improve or change the App and its free content. We may discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary, but will not intentionally remove paid access without a lawful reason and an appropriate remedy where required. The App may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, incidents, network failure or store/provider outages.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, a material breach of these Terms or legal compliance. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy. A user may stop using the App and delete the account at any time through the account deletion process.

15. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided with the level of conformity, care and remedies required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moonveil does not guarantee that spiritual or interpretive content is accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose or produces a particular outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. For users acting as consumers, any contractual limitation applies only to the extent permitted by the law of their habitual residence.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of habitual residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable consumer law. Users are encouraged to contact tealdevmp@gmail.com first so that a complaint can be resolved directly.

17. Changes to these Terms

Material changes will be communicated in advance where required. Changes do not retroactively reduce already acquired rights. Continuing to use the App after the effective date means acceptance only where this method is legally sufficient; otherwise separate acceptance will be requested.
